Hurricane Harvey landed in Houston Texas and was an extremely destructive Atlantic hurricane.
In a four-day period, many areas received more than 40 inches (100 cm) of rain as the storm hovered over eastern Texas and adjacent waters, causing catastrophic flooding in as many days.
With peak accumulations of 51.88 in (131.8 cm), Harvey is the wettest tropical hurricane on record in the contiguous United States.
The resulting floods is estimated at flooding over 175,000 homes, displaced more than 30,000 people, and prompted more than 17,000 rescues.
Moms Against Hunger is involved as a first responder of helping families with water, food, clothing and basic supplies.
Many thanks to the hundreds of volunteers who helped in this catastrophic hurricane, and the many donors who have given generously to help Houston at this time.
