Food for Fiji

250,000 meals are soon to arrive in Fiji for the typhoon victims. Nucerity thank you for how you have helped to make this possible!

 This nutritious food  is  important to starving people. It's rice, 51%vegetable protein, 21 vitamins and minerals, 6 dehydrated vegetables and  9 complete amino acids essential for good nutrition.  It has a chicken flavoring and is kosher and meets all dietary laws in different religions.

We are proud to ship this valuable food source to hungry children.  It's making a huge different around the world.

Every need has been supplied , but this will only last an area this size 2 or 3 days!!

Americans in need, are receiving - because Americans are giving!! MAH thanks every Mom and Dad who are giving compassionate care to our fellow Americans!!

Moms are preparing to serve countless families dinner, a safe place out of the cold to fill their empty bellies and hopefully renew their resolve to continue on.

Moms have set up a free store for the basic necessities: Clothing, Towels, Shoes, Etc.

Packed Lunches ready to go out the destroyed areas filled with families trying to recover their memories and personal items.

The baby items and a few cuddly toys (for hugs that are desperately needed) are ready for Mommies to come and pick up the basics for their children.

We desperately need more food, The survivors are hungry!!

Christian Alliance Receives MAH meals

We just delivered 11,340 meals to be served to the homeless  in the Greater Houston areas through Christian Alliance.  This group has been instrimental in providing for humanity around the world and we are happy to serve them. Their focus has been to provide medical clinics across the world. Our meals will certainly make a difference in lives of moms and dads and children through their caring hands. Moms Against Hunger meals are nutritionial, filling and taste good!

  The Grace Project for Local Food Distribution
Christian Alliance continues to distribute food to locations in the Greater Houston Area on a semi-monthly basis. This continues to be a real blessing to residents of the Port Houston and the Third Ward in Houston.  Their goal is to  increase their coverage to provide 33 poverty areas of Houston with regular food distribution.

Since 1998, the Christian Alliance has delivered more than 102 medical clinics and more than $20,000,000 worth of prescription medicines. These medical clinics are complete with exam and dental stations, as well as office and storage space. These are invaluable to families in need and serve large populations in other countries.

Moms Against Hunger gathers supplies

Margaret from St Andrews Presbyterian Church  and I look over the donations received in  their area  for Haiti.  These gathered supplies will be on our next shipment to Haiti later this week. 

 

 

Disinfectant by the caseloads and first aid supplies to help...... formulas for babies... practical peanut butter for fast and easy protein.....blankets for children..... many good and practical supplies are packed onto our trucks ready to send. 

All hands on deck!

My heart is overflowing just knowing,  that along with my partners..... we have men and women, boys and girls and babies that will have nutritional food to eat  RIGHT NOW.

Food Boxes

A Pastor stands at the ready watching over the food supplies till we can get set up and prepared to pass out the food.  Our Kids Against Hunger food product will go along way to bring nutritious food to the people today in Zimbabwe. 

Food Shipments arriving

Once the MAH food is released from a port (any country) it must be unloaded quickly and put onto trucks (pre-arranged and rented) and sent to a secure location (rented in advance).  Unloaded and sorted according to area of the country for delivery ( by reliable workers). 

Then when the areas are prepared and the people told.... truckloads of aid (prepared and filled with petrol)  will be transported to the different need areas and given out.

Lots of details to make hungry and sick people well....

Trusted Pastors on the ground, discuss the best ways to give away Moms Against Hunger food to the hungry.  "We need to be careful to serve as many as possible....".  These dedicated men will do their best I know to serve the people in need.

Getting food to the hungry

A Pastor's wife on the right named Pat Bismark helps to unload the precious food and get ready for a giveaway in the countryside.  Her sunny spirit is sure to encourage all those she will serve today.

Unpacking the boxes of the food, these leaders are arranging the giveaway to begin shortly.  It's going to ease their pain for today.

The leaders will give packets to each  mom. My prayer today is  "God please make  this food  multiply." I can't bear to run out!!!

  Deep concerns for the future..... our food supplies of Kids Against Hunger are given out as much as we can to each family leaving some for others waiting for their own.  Bringing a smile for the moment to these mothers in need.

Waiting quietly in line, eyes lowered she hopes and prays that she gets the same amount as the women in front of her.  'Please don't run out before I get some for my baby'.  While some are impatient and fear runs high..... others stand helpless waiting for someone to tell them what to do.

Food Giveaways

This mother is given enough food for 24 meals.... with water she will make this stretch as far as she can. Look at her expression.... it's fierce.  she has been doing everything in her power to keep her children fed.  The strong survive.... one day at a time....

Food for Mothers

Food for her baby is all she is thinking about at this moment.  No matter what the enormous problems are she is facing as a mother, food for her baby is paramount.  And her smile of relief for this next meal gives her peace.  We will handle issues one day at a time....
