There are lots of details that go into shipping loads of food around the world. Correct nutrients in the food first of all. Then the counting of actual food per load.... the various checks by different governmental departments- health, security, special licenses, and all their fees....booking the shipping line going to the country where we are sending the food..... the purchase of passage on the ship.... the acceptance letters from the country to whom it's going..... the arrangements of the timed delivery of the container....(typically the company will only book 2-3 hours to load the container on our yard) then the dated and timed delivery for off loading in the nation that will be receiving..... the trucks ready to receive the food.... where it's going to be given out at. the approval of the container for food protection on-board.... and all of this costs money... money... money AND perfect timing AND lots of stamped paperwork!
I can't help but say a little prayer over each container as it is loaded. All details are covered on this load going to the suffering people of Fiji. Soon the doors will be closed and sealed by the Port Authorities.
Soon little hands will be taking these packages of food out of these boxes. And soon little tummies will be filled with warm good food. It's so worth all the effort.... time....and labor to send food. 250,000 meals have been made ready with much love and care for each child.
A special thank you to everyone who made this shipment possible!
Nucerity you are feeding the hungry.... I love you all!!
