Thousands of children in Mexico have nothing special in their little lives. Living in rugged conditions, in small dusty hovels made out of wooden pallets – their lives are anything but normal! The least little thing can make a huge impact on their lives. These children all lined up so orderly and nice, respectful with hopeful looks of , “does she have anything for me”? I just wanted to hug all of them and tell them I love them. Here from Role Models International, toys are passed out to each one of them. Each child gets their very own, no having to sharing it with their brothers and sisters. I noticed when they left for ‘home’ no one left their plastic bags on the ground, they kept their toys inside the plastic. It too had a meaning for them, it meant this toy was new! No one had ever played with this one before it was brand new just for them. Precious children without a future unless other mothers care!
It was a bright but cold day here in Mexico, but these children had on the warmest clothes they owned. Moms and children all were here to receive aid, but few had on very warm clothing. No child in the world should ever be cold - when I think of the closets and closets of clothing unworn by millions - those unused perfectly good clothes need to go to hurting children all over the world.
